Programs: Preparing for Productivity

"The field of preparation and the harvest of fortune are one and the same."

-A. Lawrence Haskins

What content informed this program?

Our data mining efforts with reliable organizations PrisonPolicy.org and ACLU.org as well as our ongoing dialogue with the judiciary, incarcerated and at-risk youth and prosecutors have shown clearly that lack of training to become a productive member of society is one, if not the biggest challenges our target group faces. Our response is to equip these individuals with the practical tools necessary to not only survive, but thrive, in the "real" world.

Where is this program implemented?

Alternative education schools, juvenile detention facilities and community programs that give exposure to at-risk youth. Our intent is to arm any juvenile citizen who, for whatever reason, has a disadvantage with acquiring the knowledge required to function as a productive and upstanding member of society.

What are the program's core objectives & components?

The core objective of the "Preparing for Productivity" program is to position the subjects for success in society. The program's core components are as follows:

  • The Importance of Proper Etiquette & Dress
  • Verbiage & Communication Mastery
  • Body Language: The Silent Communicator
  • Resume Writing & Mock Interviews
